Uniqlo U Crew Neck T-Shirt

The concept for our men's T-shirts is "new classic". Cut from durable, heavyweight cotton that's not too loose, nor too tight, but fits just right, these T-shirts are designed to be worn for a long time and will grow on you after repeated washing. The concept for our women's T-shirts is "elevated basics". The cotton is created using interlocked knits, which are soft and smooth. After repeated fittings, a three-dimensional silhouette was created through a carefully considered pattern. In pursuit of the perfect T-shirt, we found an answer for both women and men.

For this T-shirt we added a durable "binder neck" collar for both female and male designs, ensuring the right balance and type of stitching to create a collar that falls on your neck in just the right way.

Christophe Lemaire, artistic director of Uniqlo U, shares his thoughts on the Uniqlo U Crew Neck T-shirt for men in his Paris studio. Mr. Lemaire's aesthetic is based on the idea of what a universal T-shirt should be, and incorporates a sophisticated aesthetic into something that is worn on a daily basis. Fabric, texture, and comfort, along with sophisticated colours - are considered, even in products that look simple at first glance.
