40 years later, we still operate like a local business by putting our customers first.
Even if there are now over 2400 UNIQLO stores in the world.
We're so proud of the value of the community we've built together. One by one, as we opened each new store in cities across the globe, we're so grateful for the way you welcomed us into your neighborhoods.
For our 40th anniversary, we're celebrating with a Thank You Festival to show the depth of our appreciation.

The first UNIQLO store, formerly named as Unique Clothing Warehouse, opened in the suburbs of Japan.

UNIQLO makes its way to the Philippines, opening its first store in SM Mall of Asia.
2015

3 years after, UNIQLO expands its doors in the Visayas region, opening in SM City Cebu.

On its fifth year in the Philippines, UNIQLO brings LifeWear to FIlipinos in Mindanao region with the opening of SM Lanang Premier.

The largest UNIQLO store in Southeast Asia opened its door in UNIQLO Manila Global Flagship Store in Makati City.
