How "ZO&FRIENDS" Came to Be
ZO&FRIENDS is a character universe centered on a cast of unique companions, including ZOA, the cloud cat, and A&NE. Brought to life through the creative vision of LINE FRIENDS, the series has captured hearts with its distinctive charm. The name "ZO&FRIENDS" carries the story of ZOA and A&NE meeting and growing into good friends — a phrase that also nods to the Korean word for "good" or "to like" (choa / joa), distilling the essence of the characters and their unique worldview into a single name.
Since its debut in summer 2025, ZO&FRIENDS has won fans through a series of pop-up projects and social media across Korea and Japan and out into the wider world — Asia, North America, the Middle East — with the number of people charmed by its sweetness climbing fast. And now, through this collaboration with UT, the very first ZO&FRIENDS T-shirt collection in the world was born.
Perfectly imperfect friends, ZO&FRIENDS
Always taking it slow, appearing aloof but deeply caring, cloud cat 'ZOA', a lovable busybody 'A&NE', wild, unpredictable, colorful bubbles born from ZOA's footprints 'AKIZAKI'.
ZO&FRIENDS may be a little clumsy, but their hearts are always in the right place. ZOA offers cute comfort just by being near. A&NE brings a smile with warm words and tiny bits of meddling. AKIZAKI bounce in every direction, but always bring joy wherever they go. Perfectly imperfect friends, ZO&FRIENDS. Here to be your good friends.

Meet the giant ZOA in stores
At UNIQLO Harajuku, a giant ZOA sits at the heart of a daisy-themed installation on Basement Level 2, greeting visitors with its irresistible charm. Around the display, the ZO&FRIENDS collection comes to life through Harajuku-inspired street styling, offering fresh outfit inspiration for both men and women and demonstrating how the playful graphics can be incorporated into everyday fashion.
When you take a closer look, you'll discover the thoughtful details behind each design. Different printing techniques have been carefully selected to match the unique character of all four graphics, adding depth and texture to every piece. Beyond the playful visuals, be sure to experience the tactile quality of the prints and the artistic craftsmanship of these T-shirts in person at the store.
