UNIQLO and Roger Federer Host Special Event in San Francisco Today to Develop Promising Young US Tennis Talent

UNQLO Next Generation Development Program with Roger Federer Held Today at Chase Center.
Today’s Next Generation Development Program with Roger Federer event took place at San Francisco’s Chase Center. The event coincided with the city hosting the upcoming Laver Cup competition, where UNIQLO is the official apparel sponsor providing uniforms for on-site and on-court roles. Today marks the first time a UNIQLO Next Generation Development Program with Roger Federer event has been held in San Francisco, and was made possible thanks to the support from Player Capital Tennis, one of the premier training programs in the United States. At the event, Roger Federer was on court with 28 talented junior players, offering coaching and mentoring to young athletes who are ranked among the top at both the national and regional levels in their age groups.
Speaking at the event, Federer said, "It's always special for me to spend time with the next generation of players at the UNIQLO Next Generation Development Program. Being here in San Francisco today was a real pleasure. I hope that sharing some of my experience will benefit the young players who participated, both on the tennis court and in their daily lives."
Koji Yanai, Group Senior Executive Officer of UNIQLO parent company, Fast Retailing, said, "The UNIQLO Next Generation Development Program was created to help young people around the world grow into future champions, and community leaders. Today’s event at San Francisco’s Chase Center was part of UNIQLO’s broader Next Generation Development Program, its ongoing work with the full panel of UNIQLO Global Brand Ambassadors to generate social progress, by developing young people through sport.
