The collaboration between artist KAWS and UNIQLO began in 2016 and has captured global attention through a series of celebrated projects. Known for continually bringing fresh and unexpected ideas to life, KAWS now returns with his latest collection, KAWS UNIVERSE, arriving this fall.
Alongside the beloved COMPANION, the collection introduces three new characters: Earth, Moon, and Sun. Why did KAWS choose to transform these universal elements, so deeply connected to our everyday lives, into characters? We explore the world behind this new collection.

Featuring T-shirts, sweatshirts, and debut bag charms, the collection brings KAWS’ message, “We are better together,” to life through graphics of COMPANION with Earth, Moon, and Sun, expressing warmth, connection, and unity.
Furthermore, as UNIQLO’s first *Artist in Residence, KAWS is set to take part in a variety of art programs in the seasons ahead. Deeply committed to supporting and inspiring the next generation through art and creativity, the message he wants to share today is the importance of human connection.
