This new LifeWear collaboration combines Engineered Garments' ethos of reinterpreting classic American designs into modern day apparel with UNIQLO's drive to continually pursue innovative and high-quality clothing.

Head of Nepenthes America Inc.
Designer of Engineered Garments. Born in 1962.
Moved to the U.S. in 1989. After years in Boston, New York City, and San Francisco, he settled in New York City in 1997 and founded Engineered Garments in 1999. In 2008, he became the first Japanese designer to be named among the GQ/CFDA Best New Menswear Designers in America.
