Jeans in a color you've never seen before.
To create jeans with a sophisticated and elegant look, we began with color. While traditional indigo fades to a lighter hue—a characteristic charm—it often lacks refinement. In pursuit of a modern aesthetic distinct from vintage styles, UNIQLO employs proprietary nano-level dyes.* This innovative approach ensures colors won’t bleed during machine washing, offering a broader spectrum for personal expression. Experience rich hues you’ve never encountered before with these exceptional jeans.

Comfort and a silhouette that’s perfect for me.
SOBIN runs a café in Seoul while working as a model. Looking for bottoms with a comfortable fit like a cozy café and soothing pastel colors, she landed on UNIQLO’s Wide Straight Jeans. The silhouette is not too broad, she says, and look is light and clean, all of which is comfortable and feels good. She found a beige color that was exactly like the wall color of her café and bought it straight away.

The goal of these wide straight jeans was to combine an authentic look and comfort. In order to create a texture that can only be achieved with weight and firmness, and to do so with a fabric that anyone would find easy to wear, it was necessary to get to the bottom of denim fabric, which is the lifeblood of jeans. UNIQLO took on the challenge of creating an unprecedented denim fabric. That challenge was supported by our partner, Kaihara. The fabric was created using a technique that dyes only the surface of the yarn a deep indigo color while leaving the core white, resulting an authentic appearance that we sought after, even in the way the color fades. Furthermore, by thoroughly examining the density of the warp and weft yarns, we have created a piece that is both moderately soft and smooth to wear.
