Too large
These shorts were HUGE. My 10 year old son is on the larger size so I happy to see that these were "wide." Unfortunately looked like he was wearing a midi dress in these shorts. I made him try them on and they look ridiculous. I can't shorten them because of the pockets. I can't even return them because they are final sale.
If Uniqlo is reading this -- I think they could either be wide and shorter, or more narrow and longer.... but not both wide and long. I don't even know where he could wear these? Hiking? no. School? no. Place of worship? no. Out with friends? no way.

Comfortable
My son loves these pants. He looks so cute on these pants with the uniqlo green creeper shirt. He is 9 years old, 143cm and 100Ib. I ordered 11-12 for him. They look perfect.

The waist band is not adjustable
This half pants's fit is large and long. I bought it for my son because the description said the waist elastic band is adjustable. However, after I received it, besides the fact that the elastic band can be pulled out of the slit on the left side, there was no button anywhere to anchor the elastic band on. Even worse, the elastic band doesn't even have any buttonholes either.... I don't know how the waist can be "adjustable"??? I bought 2 pairs of these as a final sale so I can't even return them, even though they are defective... Very disappointed.

Good design but stiff material
The sizing is way too large. Also, the material feels stiff even after washing. I wish they felt softer and were less wide. Overall I like the style of the shorts though.
