Good basic
Great basic to have. I bought this on sale ready for cooler weather. I found an XS to fit snugly like a UK 8. The material is stretchy without looking cheap.

Good fit, warmth, & quality
Originally bought this because I wanted to test out Uniqlo's Heattech and the Black Friday price was pretty good. I ordered the black and white striped one in an XL, but honestly could have probably gone with a large as it stretches a lot (it does run true to size but since it's quite stretchy you could probably size down is what I'm saying). It's not quite as warm as I was expecting, but it does the job. I think of it as adding the warmth of maybe a thick long sleeved shirt with the thinness of a camisole almost.
I personally wouldn't wear it on its own like the model is, but then again I'm not a fan of the form-fitted look. I usually wear it under t-shirts or sweaters for just an added layer of warmth and it works really well! It's so thin that I often forget I even have it on. I've also washed it several times since purchasing it, worn it on numerous occasions and its held up well--no signs of wear and tear. If you're looking for something to give you an extra layer of warmth but not make you look like a marshmallow this is it! Just use it as an extra layer though, not a substitute for a proper winter coat ;)
