Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cut Not Flattering I'm on the fence as to whether to keep this dress. I like to have a few summer dresses with sleeves, and this is about the only one that this company has to offer; all the rest are sleeveless. The problem with this dress for me is its cut; it's very straight and wide and not at all flattering for the female figure. In addition, I would have preferred a slip made from synthetic fabric. A cotton slip together with a cotton dress does not provide the necessary movement (lack of friction) between the two pieces. Also, since the dress is navy, why is the slip black?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely to wear These dresses are pretty and very comfortable to wear, the cotton is as light as air and so comfortable in the hot weather.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tested These beautifully made dresses/long-shirts are made of preshrunk fabric. They don't change size and length after being washed and dried in a dryer. I already left a review for the white one ( which I tested)- the navy has different beauty but the same high quality of labor and materials. The slip inside ( the lining) is made of lightest and most delicate cotton. Pure pleasure for the skin in a hot summer day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Summer clothing Nothing better for a hot summer than Indian cotton. I ordered this beauty in white to wear it as a long shirt or at home or as a caftan. I am very sensitive to synthetics , especially in summer so when I saw the fine cotton, even of the underlining I knew I will love this clothing. This garment in white could be worn as a dress in public only in very hot summer days, and I can't see anything better for the body, but being so long and white I would avoid it in rainy days to don't look as a nightgown. The details and stitching are perfect- all pintucks and inserts and tiny snaps to keep the undergarment at place at shoulders-all beautifully made. My only concern is eventual shrinkage and I hope it will keep the size after washing. The quality of the garment, as silhouette, materials and labor are excellent- this is NOT a cheap-looking, homemade ethnic shirt. After my first washing I will be coming for navy and at least one more in white.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shapeless dress that can look cute with a few tweaks The material is very thin and light and feels a bit cheap. It's nice that it come with a slip, and the round neck and 3/4 sleeve is cute. However the cut is much wider than it appears in the photo. If I could size down I would, but XS is the smallest they have. I plan to wear it with a belt - a little cinch at the waist makes all the difference. Also unbuttoning a couple of the buttons at the skirt bottom helps add a visual break from all that material.
