Wonderful Fall Shorts
I was looking for a nice pair of casual pants to wear around LA during this heatwave and beyond. These are very nice! They are short in a good way, and the hem goes down a bit so that it creates an interesting taper on the side.
My favorite pair of shorts rn.

The perfect short
I have two pairs of these from a year or two ago and they are my favorite shorts. Not too tight, wash great, go with everything. So when I saw some colors on sale, I ran to my local Uniqlo and just bought 3 pairs today (on sale, 3 pairs were the same as one pair full price and I did like the colors on sale, so you have to look carefully. The online "Find in store" was very helpful). These are about 3/4" shorter than my old ones, which is perfect. They're maybe an inch or two above my knee. I'm 6', 190 and the Large fit perfectly (just like the old ones). I usually buy 34" shorts and these fit exactly like 34" shorts. They say for 33"-36", which is a pretty big range, but they work for me. Would highly recommend.

Simple shorts.
Bought my husband these shorts, and he loves them. They are made of comfortable cotton fabric, and with neat and simple design. The only concern from me was that the length of those shorts were little shorter than his other cargo shorts, but the length was just what he wanted.
I bought 6 colors for him, all looked nice.

Slimmer than expected
I went true to size and the waist fits fine. But the leg opening is a lot slimmer than expected. I don’t have large thighs and they’re almost too tight for me. If you have large thighs I wouldn’t recommend

Tough call
This is tough because the quality and design of the shorts is very good. The confusing part is the fit, and I don't know if the next size up will fit me properly either. When I ordered, I noted that the sizing did not go by waist size, but by S,M,L, etc. When shorts are sized this way, I am a Small. When I received them, that tag say's on it that they fit waist sizes 27-30. I am a 32 waist, so naturally I could barely get them buttoned. I have to return them, but I'm afraid that if I exchange them for a Medium, they may be too big in the waist (assuming Medium fits waists sizes 31-34?). They are also slightly long. As shorts length should be 1-3 inches above the knee, these come right to my kneecap. So if they were and inch or two shorter, they would be perfect.

Overall Good but Color was Off
I ordered these shorts in 32 beige and when they came I thought they got my order wrong because the color was completely different from the image shown. The picture shown was much less gray and lighter than the shorts when they arrived. However, the shorts did fit really well and were comfortable. I ended up keeping them instead of returning because the color was workable and the fit was good.

Can't exchange online
I ordered these and the Cargo shorts. Both were well made and I really liked them. I followed the sizing guide on the site and even though I felt i was a Medium, it suggested that a Large would be better - 84% of people like me were happy with a L. So I went with it. Bad move.
Stores are all closed and I really just want to exchange them for M, but can only return online with a $7.00 return charge. Do I risk re-ordering and another $7.00 charge if not right? Think I'll wait this one out and if we're ever allowed back in the wild, return them in store and try the M size there. Bummer.

Chino short
Quality was great. Waist ended up being a half inch bigger than a 28” waist. And length on inseam an inch longer than expected. Overall great product. Still happy with them
