Clothing to Clothing
Recycling 100%
of the down and feathers.
Please bring any down product lying in your closet into our stores. We will recycle 100% the down and feathers and give them new life. Conserving resources, reducing waste, alleviating environmental impact. UNIQLO is rapidly expanding initiatives that target such a future.
Clothing to People in Need
Through this project, we have donated 46.19 million
articles of clothing in 79 countries and regions.
By recycling the clothing you bring to us, we make contributions to refugee camps and other places where they are needed. By collaborating with the UNHCR and NPOs and NGOs around the world, we provide clothing as aid that suits local needs by ensuring the right people are in the right place for support.

Clothing to Fuel and Materials*1
Recycled as solid fuel (RPF*2) and
automobile soundproofing materials.*1
The materials we collect which are not suited to reuse as clothing are recycled as fuel and other materials. These materials are remade into high-calorie solid fuel (RPF) that serves as a substitute for coal and other fossil fuels, as well as into soundproofing material to mitigate automobile engine noise and high-frequency sounds emitted by electric vehicles. *1Japan only
