Born in 1958, Keith Haring enjoyed drawing from an early age, influenced by his art-loving father. He was so into Disney and other anime and comics.
Aspiring to become an artist, he moved to New York in 1978, and while excitement with various creators, he established his own creation such as vivid coloring and using thick and simple lines. Public art drawn on subway stations and street wall attracted people's attention, and his activities spread to the world. Then he became an artist who made a huge impact in the 1980s by sending out social messages and engaging in social contribution activities through art activities.
Keith's Mickey Mouse works are few in number, but some remain in the world.
