Dragon Ball” is a widely popular manga that was made into a television anime. The show is about a group of humorous and lovable characters who go on an exciting and large-scale adventure to locate seven dragon balls that promise to grant any wish, and the explosive battles against powerful enemies they keep meeting along the way. Anni Albers (1899–1994) was a German-born artist and designer famous for her groundbreaking contribution to the field of textile design. “Idea” was first published in 1953. We teamed up with this graphic design magazine and carefully selected designs from all over the world, focusing on logos and messages that are a tried-and true method of T-shirt design.

These UT are inspired by this manga which captures the reader’s attention with a world where humanity is forced to live in cities surrounded by enormous “walls” that protect them from gigantic man-eating humanoids referred to as Titans, and “Vertical maneuvering equipment” developed to combat the Titans.

T-shirts often reflect the thoughts, and trends of our times. Long before social media, T-shirts were a canvas on which people everywhere could freely express their messages. We returned to the origin of the graphic T-shirt and collaborated with three contemporary artists who lead the art scene in the U.S. and London.

Cali Dewitt lives and works at Zuma Beach CA. He describes himself as a "multi-dimensional being" and tells us that he feels like he will be turning 100 next year. Dewitt is an artist and a designer, who has been exhibiting his work worldwide for the past decade, in addition to doing design work for cultural luminaries of the era.
