Hiroshi Nagai is the driving force behind "City Pop", which prevailed in Japan in the 1980’s and has been re-evaluated worldwide in recent years. Enjoy this UT collection of carefully selected tropical and blue-sky paintings that are characteristic of Mr. Nagai, such as the deep blue skies, strong sunshine, and romantic sunsets.

HIROSHI NAGAI
A Japanese illustrator who was born in 1947. His unique renditions of summer landscapes were inspired by scenery that left a mark on him during his stay in the US, and it is these that brought him to prominence. His sharply rendered, tropically themed drawings have also had a huge influence on fashion and music, with many gracing magazines, ads, and record jackets.
