Great clothing can enhance the lives of people everywhere. We give back to communities at local and global level, here’s what we’ve achieved this year with your help.

    RE.UNIQLO studio expansion

This year we’ve launched eight new RE.UNIQLO studios in Europe, so you can enjoy wearing your UNIQLO clothing for longer. As of today we operate 36 studios globally, 12 of them are in Europe, and 11 of these offer our brand new embroidery service. Our ambition is to have 50 studios globally in one year’s time. As of today, we offer customers in the following cities our repair and upcycling services: London, Manchester, Paris, Copenhagen, Milan, Antwerp, Luxembourg, Berlin, Madrid.

Peace for All charity T-shirt project

Peace For All has to date featured designs from 33 contributors and sold more than 2.3 million T-shirts worldwide; raising over 4.77 Million USD* for UNHCR (The UN refugee agency), Save The Children, and Plan International. Shop the Peace for All collection here.
*As of the end of August 2023, raising JPY 697,281,900 (over US$4.77 million calculated at the September 11, 2023 exchange rate of US$1 = JPY 146).

    JOIN us

To highlight World Clean Up Day in Europe we arranged clean up events in eight cities, where 116 of our UNIQLO employees participated. As an employee of UNIQLO Europe you can enjoy two days of paid volunteering each year.

We continued our global campaign JOIN with a 1.5 million USD donation to UNESCO**. Learn more about JOIN here.
**Donations will be made from Fast Retailing Co, Ltd., which manages the UNIQLO brand, to UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation), which is involved in activities aimed at reducing ocean garbage. Actual donation amount may vary depending on the exchange rate at the time of donation. UNESCO does not endorse any product, service, brand or company.

    Giving Tuesday

As part of our Arigato festival, UNIQLO Europe launched fundraisers with our Adyen payment provider to benefit local charities across nine regions. Thanks to our customers' generous contributions both in-store and online, we raised more than 114 000 € for four charities: The Trussell Trust, Samu Social Paris, Tafel Deutschland, and PLAN International. In addition, UNIQLO matched customer donations of 39 000 € across three markets.
