Our designers, pattern makers, and production staff come up with ideas for improvement every season. The changes may be subtle, but they make a big difference.

AIRism feels smooth to the touch, and absorbs sweat quickly. By combining cotton with AIRism, we were able to create a fabric that offers both form and function.
Caring for you and the planet.
Made from recycled plastic bottles.
This season, the polyester in our AIRism is made from recycled plastic bottles, with no change to the quality, comfort, or functionality.

Sleeves
The perfect cut, down to the millimetre.
Our elbow-length sleeve.
We focused on the sleeves to balance an oversized look with a put-together feel. We created a modern silhouette by using dropped shoulders and a raised ribbed collar.

For Uniqlo U, creative director Christophe Lemaire and his design team spend time choosing sophisticated colours that range from earthy basics to vivid accents.
Uniqlo U Crew Neck T-Shirt
The Uniqlo U Crew Neck T-Shirt has a loose silhouette and a thick texture with short sleeves, a high shoulder line, and a thick, ribbed collar. These details strike a fine balance together with cuffs that are finished with a blind stitching technique called “Lewis stitches” - reducing the stress on the fabric and giving a soft feel.

Supima Cotton Crew Neck T-Shirt
