Fabric
Soft, yet tough.
This fabric can do it all.
Last year, we improved the fit of one of our men’s staples: the chino. We used Supima®️ cotton in the warp yarn to achieve a more premium feel on your skin. Try on a pair and see for yourself. While chinos have a casual history, these trousers also work well in business settings.
It all starts with the fabric.
Rare and premium Supima.
Supima®️ is a rare and premium type of Pima cotton, which is made by crossing Egyptian and American cotton. With fibres that are 35mm or longer, it feels smooth on your skin while remaining durable. We achieve an even smoother texture by applying a process that prevents the finished fabric from becoming fluffy.
One yarn for warp. One for weft.
Beauty and comfort woven together.
Because of Supima®️ cotton’s signature long fibres, it can be spun into a yarn with fewer twists, allowing it to retain the sheen and smooth texture of the material. Fewer twists means the fabric can keep its softness. For the weft, we used a core-spun yarn with a polyurethane core wrapped in cotton. This makes the fabric stretchy and supports movements like bending and stretching the legs, allowing you to wear the product effortlessly throughout your day. For the core-spun compact yarn used for the weft, we chose a more delicate 20-count yarn. Having a weave structure of 3/1 twill gives a striking sheen on the surface, while keeping the inside gentle on your skin and the fabric durable.

Silhouette
Effortless elegance.
Our goal is to make trousers that can be worn effortlessly. Here are the three ways we achieve that:
It's all in the knees.
By adding enough room around the thighs, which naturally have a lot of movement, and creating a straight line under the knees, we can create a clean silhouette from the hips to the hem.
A curved waistband for improved fit.
With a curved waistband, a shirt won’t as easily come untucked, and an improved fit can be achieved. The width of the waistband has been adjusted to the millimetre, to prevent stress on the body and create a comfortable fit.
Double jet pocket.
It's in the details.
Pockets matter. After considering a wide variety of shapes and sizes, we have chosen double jet pockets for our chinos.
