Product stories
Gorgeous colours born from fine yarn.
Extra fine Merino wool, with its incredibly thin fibres, has a shiny surface and produces vivid colours. To create consistently beautiful colours we dye the wool when it's raw, instead of after it has been spun into yarn.

100% easycare, 100% wool.
Wool can require extra care, but we've worked out several ways to overcome that. With a special non-shrink treatment, this jumper is machine washable but retains the elegant feel of wool. We also apply a treatment to suppress pilling and twisting to produce a 100% wool jumper that will look great for a long time.

Still beautiful, wash after wash.
Natural materials can be tough to care for, but not this knit. We've given the wool special, non-shrink and anti-pilling treatments while retaining the delicate texture. It looks so good, you can hardly tell which one has been washed 15 times.
*Tested at Kaken Test Center using a Type C (pulsator) washing machine following the JIS L1930 testing method, before being ironed.
Product stories

Roger Federer's favourite year-round jumper.
Our Merino jumper is UNIQLO Global Brand Ambassador Roger Federer's favourite for many reasons. This versatile knit is perfect for a variety of occasions, during any season. It's lightweight, wrinkle-resistant, and machine-washable, perfect for Roger’s travels around the world. 'I used to dress it up with a collared shirt underneath, but lately I've been wearing it with a T-shirt and jeans for a casual look, or under an evening jacket with dress pants', he says.

Enhancing the fine colour and lustre.
Using extra fine Merino wool, known for its incredibly thin fibres, allows us to achieve vibrant colour and elegant lustre. To maximise these characteristics, we dye the wool before it’s spun, ensuring even colour distribution. The wool is then transformed into beautiful thread through a process called "drawing", which aligns the separated fibres. While the knitting is done by machine, the linking of each part is meticulously crafted by skilled artisans. Finally, we apply a washable treatment to ensure the knitwear remains beautiful and easy to care for.
