We selected 20 colours and patterns for this season. We fine-tune every detail, from the width of the check to the accent colours. We also alter the garment specifications for each fabric, including button size and colour, and ensure that patterns are matched at the seams.

Fine threads of 100% cotton wrap the wearer in simple, understated comfort and style. We focused on the density of the fabric and the twist of the yarn to ensure a soft finish both inside and out. Smooth on the outside, comfortingly soft on the inside. We have dedicated all our efforts to achieve this perfect balance.

Geoff Haggray is a photographer in Brooklyn, New York. A lover of second-hand clothes, he has been captivated for years by the vintage feel and careful craftsmanship of UNIQLO’s flannel checked shirts. He describes the abundance of original colours and patterns he saw at UNIQLO stores as “like a treasure hunt.” Geoff talks excitedly about the special experience he had when going to buy a second shirt.
