STEP 1 Read the care label

STEP 2 Place in a laundry bag
Gently fold the garment and place it in a fine-mesh laundry bag.
STEP 3 Spin-dry
Keep the spin cycle short—just enough so that no water drips from the garment when removed.
STEP 4 Before hanging to dry
Sewn areas such as collars and button plackets are prone to shrinkage.
Gently stretch collars, cuffs, and plackets while still wet along the seams to restore their shape.
STEP 5 Hang in a well-ventilated, shaded area
When drying, use a sturdy hanger to help maintain the garment’s shape.
Finally, gently smooth out the whole garment.
