UNIQLO Canada Reopens Stores in Alberta & British Columbia in Accordance with Health Regulations

May 19, 2020 OTHER
UNIQLO Canada is pleased to announce the reopening of stores in British Columbia and Alberta starting May 21st. The stores, which have been closed since March 17 due to the threat of COVID-19, are now reopening with enhanced protocols that align with local guidelines in each province.

Key protective measures include:
-Hand-sanitizing stations located at the entrance of the store and at cash registers
-Installation of acrylic barriers at checkout counters and fitting room counters
-Frequent cleaning of high-traffic areas in front and back of house including cash areas, fitting rooms and shopping baskets
-Store capacity will be reduced at all locations to enable customers to practice physical distancing while shopping
-Once at capacity, customers will be asked to line up outside the store while practicing physical distancing
-At the current time, our fitting rooms will remain closed
-All staff will take a daily temperature check and wear personal protective equipment
-Customers’ temperature will also be checked before entry to the store

Returns will be held for a 48 hour period before becoming available for purchase again and we have paused our clothing donation program until further notice.

UNIQLO is committed to providing customers the best service possible, with high-quality, affordable clothing that makes life better for all.

Please visit our FAQ page or Store Locator for all open store locations and their specific operating hours.
