
LifeWear Special Ambassador Haruka Ayase Joins Event at UNIQLO Shanghai
Ms. Ayase greets the audience in Chinese at event introducing recommended summer styles

On Friday, May 9, UNIQLO held an event at its global flagship store, UNIQLO Shanghai, with the theme “Effortless Summer,” to introduce products that add color to the warmer months, such as Bra Tops and UV protection wear.
At the event, popular Japanese actress and UNIQLO LifeWear Special Ambassador Haruka Ayase, who is nicknamed “Goddess of Healing" in China, took the stage to introduce her summer lifestyle and fashion.
Ms. Ayase began by greeting the audience in fluent Chinese, prompting an excited reaction from the crowd.
At the event, Ms. Ayase wore a beige Bra Top with a dark gray jacket. When asked about how she was liking her first visit to Shanghai, Ms. Ayase said that she had been enjoying the delicious food and beautiful night views of the city. Regarding her thoughts on UNIQLO's LifeWear, she said, "LifeWear is clothing that improves people's lives, and is both comfortable and functional. I especially love wearing AIRism."
Xu Libin, manager of UNIQLO Shanghai, also took the stage to introduce the lineup and functionality of products recommended for summer, such as Bra Tops and UV protection items. Ms. Ayase offered advice about how to protect against the sun while enjoying summer, saying, "I always carry UNIQLO's UV Protection Parka with me, since it is so easy and convenient to throw on when I step out or go somewhere to film."
The event was also live-streamed for the many customers in China. At the end of the event, Ms. Ayase took questions submitted by fans through social media, answering in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. In response to the question, "How would you describe summer in three words?" she replied, "When I think of summer, I think of kakigori, edamame, and AIRism!"
