Founded by designer Sophie Mechaly, Parisian fashion brand Paul & Joe first appeared in 1995, soon expanding to include cosmetics, gifts and accessories.

DESIGNER PROFILE
Born in Paris, France, Sophie Mechaly studied at the Sorbonne and the Institute France de la Mode. She gained experience under Azzedine Alaía before joining her parents’ shirt company Le Garage, becoming a full-time designer at the age of 26. In 1995 she founded Paul & Joe, named after her two sons.
