I can wear them in the studio and in the evenings, I can brush them off and I can go straight to the pub with them. They are great fun.
While working away in his busy studio, Chris tells us about his connection with clay as a medium for his art. Chris explains his lifelong love for jeans, fondly recalling his first encounter with denim, a jeans suit gifted to him by his mother which he wore all summer. Spending long days working with clay and bending over kilns in the studio, Chris values the durability of Uniqlo denim, explaining how easy it is to brush off any dirt before heading out to socialise after work.

LINEUP
Ultra Stretch Jeans
These jeans are amazingly comfortable. The stretchy fabric's high elongation recovery rate helps maintain a beautiful silhouette and means they won't easily get stretched out of shape when you wear them.
Extra Stretch
Colour Jeans
We carefully modified each colour for the most beautiful shades possible. These stretchy jeans are made from fabric with a high elongation recovery rate for amazing comfort.
Slim Fit Jeans
Stretch denim with an authentic used look. Straight silhouette for a longer-legged look with an ingenious pattern design.
Stretch Selvedge Slim Fit Jeans
We developed a special old-fashioned loom with Kaihara denim, through repeated trial and error. In this way we created comfortable, innovative fabric that stretches while preserving the feel of stiff, non-stretchy denim.
