Cotton fibre is made by untangling cotton flowers. In particular, "extra-long staple cotton", with fibre lengths of 35 mm or more, is high quality cotton of which production is limited even in the world.The fibre has a smooth feel and pleasing lustre. At UNIQLO's factory, impurities are carefully removed from the block-shaped bales of extra-long staple cotton that arrive from producing areas. The fibres are twisted many times while gradually aligning their direction and spun into beautiful yarn.
