Even though this is breathable AIRism mesh, it offers UPF 50+ protection from UV rays. We achieved this amazing functionality by using a special knitting structure to produce a fabric with yarn kneaded with titanium oxide, an ultraviolet diffusing agent. The effect lasts after washing because the yarn itself blocks UV rays.* Development started 10 years ago, but the evolution continues this season with the addition of innovations that enhance fabric durability.

The hoodie is also designed for enhanced UV protection. The cuffs have thumbholes so you can protect the backs of your hands, too. Around the hood, pull the adjustable spindle cord to cover your head and face, while a higher collar takes care of your neck. The body length comes down to the middle hips. It's easy to wear and stays out of your way. The packable design provides convenient portability because it lets you store your hoodie in its pocket instead of having to carry a bag.
