FRANCESCO RISSO – MARNI CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Appointed as Marni’s creative director in 2016, Francesco Risso is leading the brand into a new era, mixing Marni’s essence with eccentricity and intellectualism, while bringing in his own aesthetic.
Born on the Italian island of Sardinia, Risso spent the first years of his life on a boat with his parents before they moved to Genoa to live with family.
Risso worked for Anna Molinari at Blumarine, Alessandro Dell'Acqua and Malo, before joining Prada in 2008.
His debut collection for Marni was Autumn/Winter 2017.
