
Dragon Ball Z - the second part of the trilogy of the animated TV series based on Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball manga - aired in Japan for 7 years. The TV series, which was eventually broadcast in more than 40 countries throughout the world, is renowned as a masterpiece of Japanese anime. This installment - which begins when Son Goku's brother, a rogue member of the Saiyan race, is sent to invade the earth - traces the growth of Goku's son Gohan from a young boy to a brave warrior.
