This season, my collection is designed to look as if it had been taken from a movie I once saw a long time ago. The clothes are created for sophisticated modern dressing, while still remaining classic.

What’s unique about this collection is, first, the new colours, such as the deep Bordeaux red and forest green, and also the elegant silhouettes created from the feminine cut of the clothes.

The collection also includes more than just clothes for every day. I’ve created more formal pieces and put some dressier items in the collection. Everyone from time to time has an occasion where dressing up a little more than usual is called for.

But the important thing, as I’ve said before, is creating special clothes that can be worn every day. For instance, I’ve designed the jackets and essential knitwear in the fall/winter line to my own signature standard with the greatest care and attention to detail.

Each individual piece expresses the ultimate in sophistication, but can actually be dressed down when mixed with a t-shirt and jeans. By mixing and matching various pieces, dressing well every day is always possible.

Born in France, Ines de la Fressange is a fashion model, beloved muse for global fashion brands, and most recently a designer, businesswoman and journalist. In 2013, she re-launched her own brand as an art director, and embodying modern ‘Parisian chic’.
