UNIQLO to launch new widget ‘SPORTSTWEET’ with Twitter

As part of the 2010 summer sports campaign, UNIQLO has introduced SPORTWEET, a website that analyse tweet frequency and other data to rank the sportiness of your Twitter account around the world. The site features dynamic movies which mixes athletes wearing UNIQLO sports wear with tweets. With the world ranking system, Twitter users can enjoy a game like feel where they can compete with other users for their sportiness.

By entering a twitter username at the site, users can view tweets from their Twitter accounts, appearing vividly along the dynamically moving athletes on the site, together with vibrant music in the background. Users can enjoy energetic and dynamic movies of athletes in various sports such as tennis, soccer, basketball, martial arts, track and field, and dancing.

After the movie ends, the sportiness of the Twitter account is scored by tweet frequency and other data, and then displayed in a world ranking. The score can also be shared on Twitter.
