UNIQLO announces designer collaboration with Costello Tagliapietra for Summer 2010

UNIQLO today announce a designer collaboration with renowned womenswear designers Costello Tagliapietra, featuring beautifully designed layered jersey dresses.

Reminiscent of 1970’s brands such as Gres and Halston, the Costello Tagliapietra collaboration for UNIQLO features 12 uniquely designed dresses that can be worn day through into the night, featuring soft, draped slub jersey, that has beautifully cut to create unique designs in muted shades, offering a fresh approach to this wardrobe essential.

In 1994 Jeffrey Costello met partner, New York native and Parson’s School of Design graduate, Robert Tagliapietra and together they created Costello Tagliapietra. Their skill of couture pattern techniques combined with a play of fabric, drape and silhouette, create a unique womenswear vision that is modern, elegant and timeless.
