UNIQLO to project a New Japan at the Davos Forum site

UNIQLO and The Davos Diet Member’s Caucus co-sponsored the JAPAN LUNCH program, promoting New Japan at the 2009 World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland, projecting modern-day Japan to leaders of the global political and economic communities.

The World Economic Forum took place in Davos, Switzerland from January 28 through February 1, 2009. UNIQLO and The Davos Diet Member’s Caucus jointly hosted the JAPAN LUNCH program to promote New Japan on January 31 at the Davos Forum conference site. Japanese art and pop culture was used to portray the ‘New Japan’ to 1,500 leaders of the world’s political and economic communities in the main Congress Center conference site.
