All-new style with jeans

  • Our chinos and cargo pants represent all sorts of new possibilities. On the other hand, our sense of style in jeans continues to change and develop. Since jeans are a wardrobe basic, they truly stand out compared to other kinds of pants. And precisely because they're a basic item, they can also be very trendy depending on how much or how little they're processed, the silhouette they create, and more: this is the beauty of jeans. Jeans will always be an essential item in terms of fashion.
  • What's the appeal of UNIQLO jeans for you, Shun? Besides the fact that they're reasonably priced, they're also of excellent quality. Because they come in all different colors and looks and in various silhouettes, if you have several pairs, you can enjoy a whole variety of different styles. That's what makes these pants so great.
  • Do you think there's a particular way to enjoy the mood of the spring and summer to come with jeans? Of course. In the spring it's really nice to do a casual look featuring jeans combined with a military-style jacket, or with a suit jacket for a slightly dressier look. In the summer, it's also fun to do a surfer look combining a polo shirt with denim shorts, or a preppy look featuring a short-sleeved Madras checkered pattern paired with jeans.
  • What would you say is the look for jeans that incorporates this spring's trends? That would definitely be denim-on-denim. The trendy look for this season is a bit complicated, but think of it as a fun challenge! Pair dark denim jackets and shirts with dark jeans. If you're doing a light denim top, pair it with a lighter denim bottom: the key here is the tone combination between top and bottom. Or combine jeans with a beige or navy jacket for a preppy look. This is a trendy look for this year.
