         <title>UNIQLO to open their largest Southeast Asian store in Singapore at 313@somerset</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>Japan's Number One casual wear brand sets yet another milestone by launching their 3rd Store in Singapore at 313@somerset, the largest in Southeast Asia on Thursday, 3 December 2009. The new store will cover up to 17,000 square feet of floor space across a single level. With an interior design reflecting an edgy, cosmopolitan feel, the new Somerset store is set to make waves in our local fashion scene by bringing you exclusive designer collaborations, such as the "<img alt="+J" src="http://www.uniqlo.com/sg/news/%2BJ.gif"/>" Collection and limited edition range of products that will not be available at their other stores.</p>
<p>Apart from UNIQLO's already popular collection of basics, the store will also carry one of the year's most anticipated collaborations - the "<img alt="+J" src="http://www.uniqlo.com/sg/news/%2BJ.gif"/>" collection by Fashion Designer Ms. Jil Sander. Ms Sander's collection will feature a mix of outerwear, bottoms, shirts, cut & sewn, knitwear and other goods for the Fall/Winter 2009 season priced from between S$29.90 to S$229.90. The "<img alt="+J" src="http://www.uniqlo.com/sg/news/%2BJ.gif"/>"collection will be sold exclusively at the 313@somerset store.</p>
<p>The new store will also feature a limited edition collection by famed cult designer Mr. Kiminori Morishita. Under his label, he has been celebrated in Tokyo, Paris and 20 other countries around the world. This collection marks his first collaboration with the Japanese casual wear label. The Kiminori Morishita collection (KM collection) will be sold exclusively at the 313@somerset store.</p>	
<p>"UNIQLO stays true to its brand philosophy of creating affordable, quality and innovative clothing for everyone. Therefore, we hope that the opening of our largest Southeast Asian store will make our products available for customers and attracting new brand followers from the region. We also hope that customers can enjoy and experience the full range," said Mr. Satoshi Onoguchi, Managing Director of UNIQLO Singapore.</p>
<p>With the larger floor space, the new store will be featuring a larger collection of UNIQLO staples. The 313@somerset store will be the first UNIQLO store in Southeast Asia to showcase their Baby collection, truly living up to their position as a casual wear brand that provides quality apparel for all ages.</p>
<p>Also available at the 313@somerset store are more key innovative designs from UNIQLO such as the new and improved HEATTECH collection is launched in a tropical climate for the first time. It features eight benefits for its wearer.</p>
<p>The uniqueness of HEATTECH lies in its heat generation and retention, soft texture, moisture and odour control and stretchable comfort. This season, UNIQLO adds shape retention and static electricity prevention to the list. The blend is a special concoction of milk protein and natural amino acids extracted from milk to provide a soft texture and moist feel on the skin. Its antibacterial processing also curbs unpleasant odour and permits indoor drying. Since its launch that took Japan by storm in 2005, UNIQLO has sold 28 million pieces sold worldwide in 2008.</p>
<p>With so much to look forward to, the UNIQLO 313@somerset store will surely be the destination for casual wear in Singapore.</p>

         <title>Shoppers flock to get a glimpse of the new UNIQLO store at ION Orchard</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>As of 1pm, more than 7,000 die-hard UNIQLO fans were among the first to enter UNIQLO’s latest ION Orchard store which opened its doors today at 10am.  The duplex store is UNIQLO’s first central store, located at the heart of Singapore Shopping District, Orchard Road.<p>
<p>To ensure that each shopper has a pleasant shopping experience, crowd control measures were set in place which proved successful in easing the flow of traffic in the store.  Friendly UNIQLO staff were on-hand to provide shoppers with information and suggestions about their latest range from Fall/Winter 09 which includes the Neo Leather Collection, which premieres 2 weeks ahead of Japan.</p>
<p>The store’s best-sellers for the opening day were the Gundam and Japan Game UT T-shirt range and Belted Half Pants for male shoppers, while female shoppers bought up the new Neo Leather jackets, Extra-Fine Scoopneck Cotton T-shirts and Tapered Skinny Jeans.  From now until the end of August, shoppers who purchase any of the Neo Leather range of apparel or spend more than $100 on a single receipt will receive a collectible UNIQLO Tote Bag.</p>

         <title>Fashion Meets Innovation for UNIQLO&apos;s FW09 Collection</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>True to its philosophy for constant innovation, Japan's number 1 casual wear brand, UNIQLO launches its Fall/Winter collection with that in mind.          <title>UNIQLO’s first store in Singapore opens to great success</title>
         <description><![CDATA[The first, much-anticipated <strong>UNIQLO</strong> store in Singapore at Tampines 1 opened its doors today, serving more than 400 customers when the store opened its doors at 10am. Some of the store’s best-selling items included UTs and Denim. </br></br>

90 minutes after the store opened its doors, crowd control measures were put in place to ensure smooth flow of traffic so that customers could enjoy the UNIQLO shopping experience. </br></br>
