Oct., 2017, Singapore – UNIQLO Singapore is delighted to announce the launch of My First Outfit, a programme which provides children with the opportunity to experience the process of selecting their own clothes. First introduced in UNIQLO Japan in March earlier this year, UNIQLO Singapore is the first country in Southeast Asia to launch this unique programme and it is now available exclusively at the Suntec City store. This service is free-of-charge with no minimum spending required - each session takes around 50 minutes and programmes are subjected to availability, with prior registration required.

Encourages Independent Decision-Making

My First Outfit aims to encourage children to build their self-confidence and independence as they learn to make their own decisions - in line with UNIQLO’s LifeWear concept in enriching everyone’s daily lives through quality, comfortable clothing, the programme creates an avenue for children to choose their clothes voluntarily and experience the joy and excitement from wearing the clothes that they have selected.

Fosters Closer Bonds & Understanding Between Parent & Child

Parents who enrol their children in this programme will be given the chance to learn about their children’s preferences and understand their thoughts and needs better, which in turn encourages the fostering of a closer bond between both parties.

4.Child mixes and matches items to create an outfit that is uniquely theirs

5.Child selects his/her favourite outfit and heads to the fitting room to try it on
