The Inès de la Fressange Collection brings together Inès’ belief in designing clothes that all women can wear with comfort to reveal their beauty, as well as UNIQLO’s LifeWear philosophy in providing innovative, high-quality clothing that is universal in design and comfort. Both philosophies have been expertly integrated by Design Director Naoki Takizawa in this new collection.

The inspiration for this season’s collection is the Danish concept of hygge, a focus of worldwide attention recently that means “warmth”, “a comfortable atmosphere and space,” or “a feeling of well-being.” Based on hygge, the collection aims to help create heart-warming, happy moments with the most important people in our lives.

The women’s collection includes new classical sport knits and Nordic sweater patterns with a hygge mood and vintage feel, as well as pieces with new silhouettes such as the mods coat, duffle coat, and boa blouson. The men’s collection includes a stand collar coat – a regular item in the women’s line that is now available for men– along with tweed and corduroy jackets, and cashmere knits.

Key colours which are featured in this collection include: · Combinations of black and white to symbolise eternal elegance · Fresh accents of vivid orange and lemon yellow · Inès’ signature navy tones
