Focusing on the 3Fs: fabric, fit and finish - the key elements of jeans - the centre collaborates with the world’s leading fabric makers and conducts R&D into the latest production technologies to create jeans that look exceptional and are also comfortable to wear. The vision for the Jeans Innovation Centre is to create the world’s best jeans.

All items on debut are part of UNIQLO’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection, and take their inspiration from the popular jeans of Los Angeles.

New to UNIQLO’s range of jeans are the Men’s Ultra Stretch Skinny Fit Jeans, Women's High Rise Cigarette Jeans, and EZY Jeans for men & women.

UNIQLO introduces the Men’s Ultra Stretch Skinny Fit Jeans, which were previously available only for women. Incorporating Ultra Stretch fabric from Kaihara* which has proved to be popular among women, these jeans are UNIQLO’s most stretchy and slimmest jeans for men yet. They are available in indigo, lightly prewashed or aged black or white denim for more casual occasions.

The new Women's High Rise Cigarette Jeans feature a sleek, straight cut which flatters the figure by accentuating leg length. It also employs Kaihara stretch denim to optimise softness and comfort.

Also available are the EZY Jeans for men and women, which feature a soft back pile fabric that makes them as comfortable as sweatpants. At the same time, the jeans draw on special techniques from the Jeans Innovation Centre to look like authentic vintage jeans. EZY Jeans also optimise comfort with their adjustable elastic waistband to maintain a snug fit. Eliminating the need for a belt, they are thus ideal for travel.

UNIQLO’s Women's High Rise Cigarette Jeans, Men’s Ultra Stretch Skinny Fit Jeans and Men’s EZY Jeans are now available in all UNIQLO stores and online at www.uniqlo.com/sg, while Women’s EZY Jeans will be available from 7 August 2017.

*Kaihara: UNIQLO has a long-standing partnership with Kaihara Corporation, a company which is well-known as a maker of high-quality Japanese denim.
