SINGAPORE, 5 MAY 2009 – UNIQLO Singapore Pte. Ltd., launches its island-wide promotion for its mega-hit item, the innovative Bra Top, at its new store at Tampines 1 mall from 8 to 17 May 2009.

Developed through extensive research, the Bra Top encompasses Dry technology and soft mesh molded cups to ensure maximum support while providing stretch, comfort and great styling.

The Bra Top can be worn comfortably with different items in your wardrobe, giving you freedom to create different looks for your lifestyle needs. It is the one essential item every woman needs.

About the Bra Top:

In Japan:
The Bra Top campaign was launched in Japan last year in 11 styles and 7 colours. It became one of the top selling items for Uniqlo Women’s Spring/Summer collection; in 2008, Uniqlo sold 3 million pieces of the Bra Top in Japan.

The popularity of the Bra Top extends to fashion conscious Japanese celebrities and actresses. This year, popular actress Chiaki Kuriyama, who was in the movie "Kill Bill", would join the Uniqlo Bra Top campaign.

In Singapore:
For the Singapore market, Uniqlo is bringing in the Bra Top in 13 styles and 15 attractive colours during its 10-day campaign period. 6 new colours will be available in Fall 2009.

How to Wear It:
Uniqlo recommends a new way for the wearer to put on its Bra Top. Instead of pulling it down from over her head, the Uniqlo Bra Top is best worn when the wearer steps into it, slides it up over her hips, and pulling the straps over and onto her shoulders. Because of the innovative construction of the built-in bra and its stretch material, the Bra Top can be put on most easily this way, giving the wearer a better bust line.
