UNIQLO to Launch New Mickey UT Collection through Collaboration with Fast-Rising British Artist Kate Moross

Women’s and kids’ designs sporting dynamic colors and graphics to launch on October 5

UNIQLO today announces the launch of its latest UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) line, the LOVE & MICKEY MOUSE COLLECTION BY KATE MOROSS on Friday, October 5. This special collaboration with self-confessed Disney fan Kate Moross is part of UNIQLO UT’s MAGIC FOR ALL, a global project with the Walt Disney Company that combines the fantasy, magic and adventure of Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar with LifeWear, immersing people in excitement all year round through an array of unique variations. The delightfully whimsical collection comprises eight designs for women and five for kids. Friends can go out together wearing differently colored items. Mothers can coordinate with their children.

Women’s items employ thick fabrics and feature wide, three-quarter length sleeves. The designer applied her signature touch to the designs, most notably through her dynamic monochrome treatments of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, as well as in drawings that incorporate playful lettering for a perfect street style look.

Women’s items will be available at Php 790 and at Php 590 for kids. Women’s sizes are S to XL. Kids’ sizes are 100 to 150. Women’s UTs will be available in all UNIQLO stores.

Kate Moross Profile
Born in 1986, the London-based illustrator, designer, and art director applies her signature typographic illustration and freeform lettering style in everything from videos and textiles to identities, murals, fashion, and magazine covers. She founded the Studio Moross production house in 2012, and focuses on branding, art direction, and commercial work.
