Japanese Engineering New York Style

July 1, 2016, Manila, Philippines -- UNIQLO today announces the launch of a UNIQLO x Theory capsule line of men’s polos and T-shirts. The new range is the fruit of a collaboration between two brands within the Fast Retailing Group, and will be introduced on July 4. UNIQLO x Theory will be available in select UNIQLO stores.

The UNIQLO x Theory capsule line features three men’s polo shirts and one men’s T-shirt that combine the outstanding wicking performance of UNIQLO’s functional fabrics with Theory’s passion for fit and sophisticated styling.

Founded in 1997, Theory revolutionized the contemporary market with its concept of the urban uniform. Theory balances luxury with accessibility in collections known for precisely tailored silhouettes and exceptional fabrics.

Dry Pique Polo Shirts The line of polo shirts comprises full open and pullover styles inspired by traditional polo shirts. The items feature off-white plackets and collars.* Full open shirts slip on as easily as T-shirts and look as great worn alone on their own as they do layered. The pullover polos with twill collars are ideal office wear, with a crisp, clean-cut aesthetic.

Dry EX Polo Shirt and T-Shirt These activewear items feature UNIQLO’s revolutionary Dry EX fabric, which quickly dries perspiration to keep wearers cool and comfortable. Ribbed cuffs with fine stripes add sophistication. A hemline binder prevents flaring during sports use. The T-shirt collar and cuffs are layered for simple styling.
